Not saying it will help you for sure but since I got hearing aids my Tinnitus has gone away. The audiologist I use is very well educated, not one from Cosco etc. that don't have a lot of training. She has told me that this could happen with the aids. I would suggest going to a well trained audiologist and check your hearing to start with and then see what happens.
