For any service job, you need to find something essential that customers either will not or cannot do. WAAS-level boundaries are a dime a dozen -- simple to derive from yield data or aerial imagery. RTK adds value to boundaries...and not all farmers can or will make the investment in time or hardware to develop them. How much value does the improved accuracy add? How much will farmers pay to have it? I don't know. Talk to some of your neighbors about it.

Now, if you can add topo mapping to your list of services, you have a new ballgame. You might build a consultancy on drainage. In a few years, you might even have crews engaged in drainage work. Good luck in your endeavors!
