| Grandpa was in a Model A club that did the same. Going through the creek really messed up the cooking time on a roast! LOL
If I was cooking on a combine component it sure would not be an air cooled engine!
I would think there would be a hydraulic pump some where that would be a lot more consistent temperature. Probably closer to 250 F. Less apt to mess up the machinery if something blows all over also.
