TheBonePile - 8/14/2021 19:27 Is your charger putting out charge (do a multimeter check) Did you try running the laptop on just the charger with the battery remved (not sure if you can remove the battery on that model) Have you held the on/off button down for like 30 to 45 seconds? (that has reset some laptops that I have worked on) I didn't do a multimeter check but I have two different chargers. One hooks to my docking station and then the docking station charges the laptop. When I put the laptop in the docking station, an LED on the outside of the laptop will always turn on, alerting me that I am charging. I also have a travel charger that can use either 120V or 12V depending on how you hook it up. That one plugs directly into the laptop. Neither will charge the laptop. I did try the 45 seconds on the power button like you suggested. While the battery was connected I did it with and without the charger. Then I took the battery out and did it with the charger. None worked. I think whatever happened she's pretty toasted. |
