S Illinois | That came to mind or possibly a difference in crop maturity. Just seems like a lot of brown for how stuff looks currently or 2020 was amazing on crop growth. Corn yield wise stuff looks similar(some record/ all at least good)to last year and with the amount of early beans possibly better for them just for extra node growth and branching.
Edit:Plant height also came to mind. Corn somewhat short and beans for the most part are short.
