western mn | It takes away some GDUs, if you can't see 2 miles and can't feel the sun on your skin, it takes some away, if your eyes can feel the smoke and you can smell it and taste it, the plants can taste it too. Somebody told me this is great more carbon for the plants, I don't know about that, but as another poster has said,we are harvesting sunlight, and the smoke is like a curtain on a window. It will delay the maturity of the corn, don't know how it will affect beans... | |
