i am for ground rigs over planes but i don't think your calculations are correct on whats going to get ran over. depends on your sprayer width but even at 120 foot booms two rows is about 2%. 90 foot is 3%.

the dilema here is what is the yield increase. last year i sprayed trial runs with and without fung and insect, and saw no yield difference while running nothing over. if i were taking out a couple rows i would have thought it might have went the wrong direction. now had the fungicide been needed i could see how running over a little would not be a big deal.
