| Stones crop numbers were based on client surveys not estimate from them or a attempt to estimate USDA`s number. System and number is higher but by only a bushel or so.
Broker says market is trading a 174 -175 type number which would explain why reaction to Stones number is so muted.
Broker stated farmer selling is very light to date 15% range ( in farmers defense) many feel their crop is a train wreck and feel more sold then percentages would indicate. Also expects farmer sales will be slow all year after last year's market action.
Stated Southern Valley spring Wheat yields are surprisingly good , from what was expected.
Short crop long tail comes to mind.
