North Central Oregon | Astoria area is great. Astoria Column, Fort Clatsop Lewis and Clark, Fort Steven’s (was shelled by a Japanese sub during WWII, Peter Iredale shipwreck, Columbia Jetty, the Maritime Museum, Warrenton, Astoria and Ilwaco fishing charters. I like the area, not too touristy, feels more like a working town. I personally can’t stand Cannon Beach and Seaside…way to touristy and lots of annoying people! Central and south Oregon coast is great as well. | |
