Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA | I have relatives in Netarts, which is pretty close to Tillamook, so we usually end up in that area for at least a day or two when we go to the beach. Netarts has the bay for clamming and not much in the way of beaches, but Oceanside has a nice beach just up the road and usually isn’t too busy when we’ve gone. It doesn’t seem quite as commercialized as some of the high traffic spots like Seaside, Lincoln City, or Cannon Beach. Last month we stayed in a VRBO at Pacific City, which I thought was nice. Again, not as busy as some places.
