SE South Dakota | Joe just because CSE posts pictures of his crops it doesn’t necessarily equate that the whole state of SD looks like that as lots of corn really is firing west of him the last couple days because it’s in the crucial and high moisture usage timeframe . So Dak farms is in some of the best soils and rainfall area year in and year out but his area is gonna be off atleast 30-40% of normal yield . I will attach a couple pictures of some corn that today shows ears starting to slightly hang and firing more than a couple leaves up and these are not my fields so I don’t know the plant dates or other information on these fields but mine several miles away are not far behind . I personally think 145 isn’t attainable in SD this year even if we catch a rain in the next 7 days . Also , the fringe areas west river and along the river that have been yielding really well the last 3 plus years are burned up and shot this year so they will not help pull SD yield up like they have in the past .
