Sure......A guy plants his corn and "expects" to get his APH or better......let's say 200bpa. Then, the drought happens. As he is looking at his poor corn, he now "expects " it to only make 100bpa. He harvests his corn and it makes 101bpa.

Yep........it was better than expected.

You need to be careful not to lump everyone in the same boat.

Lots of people apparently don’t know what “better than expected” means or how the “expectations” play into what qualifies as “better than expected”

Or that the expectations can be a moving target just like the crazy/hot scale.
