Looks an awful lot like a crab apple. Take some sticks and pull the bark off, and compare it to other apple trees. only other thing i can think of is buckthorn, but the shape of the trunk says apple, as does the bark, reddish leaves. A few leaves look like they could be buckthorn, but that should be easy to find to compare to. Almost certainly apple.
