Clay SEIA - 8/3/2021 21:31 He’s got almost exactly the same amount of accumulated moisture to this point as in 2012, with cooler temperatures after pollination. Maybe his plants and ear tipback looked the same the first week of August that growing season too.

As spotty as rains have been this year you can throw away every rainfall number other than a rain gauge in the field in question.
