Not sure but had a large retailer tell me they expect NH3 to be 1000 to 1200 by next spring. That being said I’m not prepaying now for 850 either.


Was offered NH3 for $595 delivered couple weeks ago. Didn't bite told him it is too high with where Dec 22 corn price is.

This article has an outfit that says could could see cheaper Fert prices in next 6 months.

No kidding. I don’t know where all the hype is coming from for nose bleed inputs and cash rents for next year. With a typical fall basis here in my part of north Iowa, a guy be looking at around $4.70 off the combine. Certainly a decent price at sensible levels of inputs, but seems as if just about everybody has lost there mind, IMO. A poster from southern Iowa a few weeks ago or so in a cash rent type thread indicated if a guy isn’t using 250 bu at 6 bucks he’s really screwing the landlord over. Wow, just wow.
