Could save a lot of trouble by renaming "men's" division to "open" division. Without divisions, almost every sport would be completely dominated by men, therefore "men's" and "women's" sports are not, so to speak "separate but equal," women's sports are the special division. If you can prove by chromosomes, estrogen, etc. that you're a woman, you can compete with other women. Miss any of the criteria, and you can compete in the "open" division. Freemartins and steers make perfectly good beef, but only entirely and demonstrably female cows are in my milking herd. Athletes obviously shouldn't be required to demonstrate the ability to conceive and bear children in order to compete as women, but just about everything short of that.
