| +1 on Garden of the Gods, and Royal Gorge is not too far.
7 falls was pretty neat, go in the evening, think they also used to light it up at night.
There are some cliff dwellings not far from pikes peak, not in original location though, they have been moved there,
If you go to cripple creek, there is a gravel road that goes south called phantom canyon road. it was an old railroad bed 100 years ago, they took out the tracks, and now you can drive it, even in a car I think. you will come out at Canon City on the south end, which is where Royal Gorge is.
