USDA says.........and traders believe at the moment that this is not a short crop. If they believed it was a short crop we would have much higher prices.

Sorry, got off track. As far as the original question........store 1/3 of your soybeans and whatever corn you then have room for. This just seems a way to spread your risk/reward.


The absolute price isn't the weather vane for crop size.  Spreads are.  The March is .08 above the Dec, so the market believes it is comfortable.
