Mode shifter is a common problem with them. You can ohm it out. If it’s open it needs a new mode shifter. I have replaced many of them. If you do I would also recommend replacing the tub as it ovals out at the seal and will leak. Having said that I would throw it away before I put a penny into it. Good luck.
