Texas | These appliances with all the digital displays and electronics are nice when they work as designed but can be a major butt ache when the gremlins show up.
The EPA requiring even less water to be used per cycle in washing machines may suffice for white collar workers who unexpectedly break out in a sweat drinking their favorite cappuccino. But for us folks who get real greasy and grimy, we need machines that offer more thorough cleaning action with ample water being necessary to achieve it.
I’m not impressed with the Samsung machines or similar at all. Same goes with their refrigerator freezers.. I went back to using the old stacking, full size Maytag Neptunes. Had to convert an earlier model over to the later design of electric motor and motor control board. They had two versions of washer tub seals and shafts. Changing out the bearings and seals is no biggie. I can diagnose and repair these type front loaders pretty quick. Been storing up extra parts.
