Not sure you would need the pto alternator. I have taken a motor driver and used it to control a 6 row planter running a single DC motor in place of a hyd drive. The drivers are capable of 100% duty cycle and can run up to 30 amps. From there it was a matter of chains and sprockets to get the best load range for the motor and not create heat
