NW Central Ohio | ..I'm a beef Pot Pie man myself...and have eaten a lot of Marie Callendar Pot Pies. That said....If you can make a beef stew...you can make an awesome pot pie. Grab a box of pre-rolled pie crust....Make a stew with stew meat, onions, celery, carrots, potatoes, peas, beans, corn......They originally were made to use up whatever was in the cupboard/fridge. Here's the good part....Lay the crust over the top of the mixture in the shell...and after crimping it a bit to the lower crust...give it a couple steam holes...and brush it really well with an egg wash...(Just a thin solution of water and egg stirred together)....It will brown up really crisp and beautiful!!!
