Pittsburg, Kansas | That is an interesting observation Chris.
I have taken mostly over the counter and a little bit of prescription allergy medicine much of my adult life. Always had to take them when scuba diving more than just a day at a time to be able to keep diving and clearing my ears. Congestion would just stop my head up if I didn't.
When we changed diets about two and a half years ago now after a short time I noticed I was not needing them as much if I forgot to take them (was diving at that time in Bonaire). I just quit taking them and have had maybe only two pills since then.
If I mow the yard and it is windy and some gets in my eyes, they will still matter up some and be irritated. But I no longer need allergy pills. My head does not plug up like it used to. In my case my allergy problems appear to have been a food problem.
Here is a doctor I just discovered the other day and he has a two part series on medicine, or more specifically the over prescription of medicine and the alternatives to prescription medicine. I found the program quite interesting. Part I and part II.
