Townsend, Montana | I have been filling our 2290's for several years now but I have never had to pay anything because of my low mileage farm use or whatever the reason is. But today I got a check from the US Treasury. On the memo line it says
"OGDEN 07/2020 F-2290 REF 60
10.91 INT 238 DAYS"
The check is for $560.91.
Any idea why I got this check? It can't be a refund or credit because I have never paid anything.
Should I cash it? I don't want to get a letter in the future saying that they made a mistake and I now owe them money... | |
