Get the Haas brand connectors. They have a small amount of solder in a plastic butt connector. Strip wires, insert, and heat. We use a Dewalt cordless heat gun in the field. Melts the solder, then heat shrinks the connector to the wires insulation. Neatest thing I’ve found in years. J
