Subject: Walinga grain vac to fill small bins?

South Western, IL
Sounds like the walinga grain vacs are fairly well liked on here.

We have purchased a farm the has many small bins and an older system that just won’t be ideal for our trucks.

The load ours are 6”, unload into a wore out, half buried U trough system. Just not ideal. To make it harder there is an old, maybe 1000 bu per hr leg with guy wires all around, plus power lines to dodge.

We do have a nice main bin site at home farm but could utilize some of the storage that would be worth it. There is a 10k, and a 7k that are decent. Plus about 3 or 4 more that are worth using.

Looks like walinga offers grain piping kits for filling bins. Haven’t looked into price or anything but thought I would ask if anyone has used one for this.

Trying to figure cost/bu so to speak of doing this versus taking one bin or so per year and taking floor out and putting 8 or 10” unload the right way to use truck auger.

Thanks for the ideas
