Doing a compete restore...everything gets thrown out and the system reinstalls the software...
Takes a couple of hours...and low and behold all my favorites showed up where as before they
were gone. The best way to restore is to define a restore point and use is as the target. Don't
use the system "clean up" which tosses a bunch of stuff that the restore point doesn't. Couldn't
find my bookmarks...and the system ran slow after doing that...sooo, put all my important stuff
on a zip drive and did a complete restore...And how it managed to find my old favorites and put
them on the bookmarks tool bar is beyond me. Figured I had a week tracking down all the links
I lost. | |
