Another strategy would be to go ahead and get a new fridge and fix/keep the old one. True story: Dad built a kitchen/living room onto our house and the new kitchen had framed niches for the fridge and the freezer. Came the day to move the fridge and... it wouldn't fit! Mom & Dad went to town and picked up a new fridge that had a dent in the side. Kept the old fridge in the old kitchen. Mom remarked many times how handy it was having that second fridge. |
