Pittsburg, Kansas | I can see a big difference once a person knows he has a known problem or family history of problems compared to someone who has none of that (that they know of).
This is not the first doctor I have listened to that has claimed that excessive testing illuminates a lot of problems that probably will never amount to much. So I think there are some differing/changing opinions in the medical community on the subject. Of course from a hospital financial administrators point of view, the more procedures the merrier. So will probably never get a "less is better" attitude from management. | |
