Wisconsin | yep, defrost has not worked/frosted the coil up so it's not circulating enough air to the fridge. Defrost failure is 90+% of fridge problems, most caused by trying to meet stricter energy codes, defrost takes a lot of energy.
unplug it for a couple days until it stops dripping water, it may run out on the floor if you don't empty the pan underneath. If it does the same thing again in a month or so, then you have more to look into.
The coil being dusty actually increases cooling capacity in most cases, fridges have a capilary tube for an expansion device. Makes the compressor work harder, but won't usually cause low cooling capacity.
