My only advice is to listen to the therapist and the doctor. I had surgery almost two years ago but mine was quite extensive. Labrum was torn 360° along with a complete tear of the rotator cuff. Almost like two surgeries in one. Arthroscopic repair of the labrum from three different spots then three inch incision on front side for rotator cuff repair. My doc said do nothing for six weeks. Then therapy started and lasted about ten more weeks. Your situation may be different. I know I sure feel better now than before surgery.
I am really surprised they fixed you labrum, I tore mine 5 years ago and they wouldn’t fix it. I was told that the success rate wasn’t that great. The doctor also said they don’t fix them on MLB pitchers anymore. |
