And the subsidy initially makes that required energy pretty dang profitable. It's all ridiculous. It'd be the same as the govt mandating we grow corn...........and then pay us $30/bu for the first X amount of bushels. Of course we're going to grow a lot of corn. Just like they are putting up windmills and solar panels. If they had to stand on their own merits there'd be none.
