You can argue if it’s enough rain. You can argue evaporation rates, you can argue if the ridge and drought is breaking down, it doesn’t matter. The market is taking a risk off attitude. The amounts don’t matter as much as the fact it proves, it can and will rain and the drought trend is broken. More systems are on tap to come through the corn belt. Zero yield potential is lost in a dry May through June. Big crop if we get good weather through the growing season.
Yeah, this will cure us! Add that to the less than 2" of rain we've had since April, and we'll be just fine...
