There are definitely crackpots at both ends of this spectrum, that’s for sure.
It does seem that most of the intelligent people are more centred and are viewing this situation more objectively with some making very good points on both sides of this issue. The hard part is that leaves those of us who don’t have advanced medical training deciding which professionals are right. If we don’t have the training to know the answers ourselves we are also not capable of knowing who is likely correct.
Add in the fact that many of what was called conspiracy theories in the past have been found to have an element of truth if not fully true and it leaves a lot of uncertainty. I’m not talking about the far out conspiracy theories. I’m talking about the general concerns that the other side considers conspiracy theories. On both sides.
Then add in the fact that we are all experiencing this event from our own personal experiences, which vary as much as our attitudes, and we add another reason to have different opinions.
In the end, it is likely best to ignore the nut jobs in both extremes but keep listening to those more towards the middle who are capable of making valid points, even if we ourselves don’t agree with them. I believe even the smartest person here could learn a lot by at least listening to the other side.
