I’m not sure but I think it started out as an iowa pilot program. I’m supposed to be signed up for around 120 acres. I have no idea how cover crops and tax payer subsidized crop insurance fit together.
How in the world do you get the landlord to pay to seed a cover crop.?
I cash rent a farm and the landlord has it in some government cover crop program. I have to line up getting it done but landlord covers expenses. |
