Subject: RE: Grazing corn?

Are you using this as a pasture or winter feed source?

Grazing corn makes up 80-90% of my winter feed. It works great and makes chores quick and easy. Most days I just need to check waterers. As the paddock is grazed down and there’s only stalks left I supplement some oats or barley for energy and protein.

It’s probably not cheaper than making hay or silage but certainly is way less labour.

It has cut down the amount of hay or silage I need to put up and feed. This year I’m only making 200 ac of hay.

I like it but judging by the smile the boss loves it.
