I dont have a good explanation for your infestation w/ slugs this season.

We use a lot of cover crops but mostly terminate them with tillage or use species that winter kill.

How common is notill in your area?

You may have a lot more notill, cover crops and slug pressure in your area as compared to this township where some beans are notilled but notill and cover crops are far from standard practices.

Have you heard if anyone else in your area had problems with slugs this season?
