North of London
Not sure what the lay of the ground is around there but most would run off when it comes that hard and fast.
Can cause erosion on some fields or land that has not been treated well, many erosion prone areas have some structures to slow water and/or get it underground.

Around here there would not be much flooded out as most ground is well drained and the streams will swell but little ground close to them that will flood will have crop on them except pasture or in our case trees.

I did cross the stream on our farm today to cut trails in woodlot on other side and water level was up but we did not get any rain.
Some of watershed upstream did get rain yesterday aft as I was told of drivers running into heavy rain that was like a whiteout so that moisture is passing through our place today.

We would like some rain but really do not need one of those heavy duty storms.
