NW IL, Mercer County | I hired an employee 18 months ago who has a long run through the court system, and a couple visits to the fed pen. Great worker and knows how to do most things I need done without much babysitting. A diamond in the rough if you will from that aspect.
I know that hes put himself into these situations that have gotten him into trouble, but this stuff is crazy. He has in person visits weekly from DCFS at his house. Weekly classes during the day for anger management and parenting. All of this stuff is during the work day which is a major drag for him and myself. He would never be able to hold a 9-5 job or work anywhere super structured without flexibility.
The answer to alot of his problems and getting back on his feet would be to stay busy working and away from home, but they have him do this and that all the time during the day.
No question with any of this, mostly just a frustration rant with how the system works. Maybe I’m off base, I dont know. | |
