Safrina is well below avg, suffering worst drought in years.....they are toast. Northern belt is burning up with no relief in sight. Southern belt is replanting, trying to get planted the first time. Throw in a little inflation. China buying big. USDA has a yield penciled in that has never been achieved. Carry out is shrinking by the day. High heat coming and moisture chances dropping. Place your bets.......
Makes me feel better about putting unsold old corn that I’ve been hauling in on free DP when I could be getting $7.50. I feel a little greedy... but it’s my instinct that I must trust.
