NE Iowa | Have a couple of vets from our clinic that have each discussed this - they don't agree. One feels LA200 or LA300 "can" cause issues on a bull after being treated, other thinks should be no issues. The vet who does our semen testing can see abnormalities occasionally over the years, where semen was being regenerated in bulls that have been treated previously with antibiotics for one reason or another - usually if it showed up it was LA used for footrot. If we're close to turnout or during breeding season, usually use Draxxin if necessary. Vets have also recommended Exceed as being "safe" for bulls if needed. Much more pricey, but avoid the potential issues with semen problems.
