just from experience the black and orange ones are lady bug larvae, other worms are alfalfa wevil larvae, some aphids thrown in and some older red aphids that i usually only see in early spring. personally i think the wevil larvae put some sort of toxin in the alfalfa that really sets it back a long time. just a farmers ideas
