Subject: Making a little ryelage


NW Iowa-Lyon		Got done chopping this winter rye yesterday. Chopped 32 acres and filled a 10x130’ and a 10x240’ bags. Rough figuring it did about 462 tons or 14.5 tons/acre. This had 3200 gallons/a of hog manure applied last fall. It is the most tons we have gotten.
