| We have had really good luck with our cimmaron gooseneck aluminum cattle trailers. Aside from hitting somthing and ripping a fender off no repairs.
Even had a tornado flip one over and on its side and all we did is flip it back upright and shovel all the manure out that ended up on one side not allowing the doors to work.
Edit to add one is about 13 years old and the other about 8.
Granted we only use them once or twice a week at the most. Not everyday.
But for a real cowboy it's nice to have an open sided trailer to tie rope off to and such. Or pull a cow in. Not somthing you get with an aluminum trailer. Ours is also a pain when unloading at the cattle auction when they tag the calves. But really I prefer to just unload and let them do it in the shoot so I can match their numbers with mine.
If you get an aluminum trailer get full length running boards.
Ours go off-road. And get abused.
