Heck yea triticale is far superior to wheat. There’s like 10 guys breeding it and it’s super healthy, drought tolerant, huge forage yield, huge grain yield, a lot more insect resistant too.
Everyone and their dog breeds wheat and it’s sick, virus today, fungus tomorrow. Drought stress magnet, army worm and grasshopper bait. It’s really a dud crop.
