JD 7200 planter Martin 15" spading wheel just nips the bottom of the rubber insecticide diffuser. This is after shimming to get proper clearance away form the row. Some rows hit a couple others are very close. The first 2 pics are how the original bander/bracket fastens up underneath the cast tail piece. The last 2 show how the spader nips the diffuser. Anyone else ever run into this and how did you solve it ? I have to have the insecticide and diffuser. I see Shoup has a replacement that looks to be plastic and a bit narrower but what do they mean by slope compensating ? Will narrowing up the insecticide band slightly be an issue ? They don't give an overall length either. Anyone have a Shoup one for reference ?
