Earlville, NY | Im looking for payroll software. We have QuickBooks desktop but didn't renew payroll. Farm Credit is doing payroll now but will be getting out during 2026, not very satisfied with them anyway
So now we're back to looking again, but all of these payroll programs tell you almost nothing without giving your info, email etc. We have 10-12 employees, not seeing any more in near future.
Our biggest concern is reconciling with Quickbooks. With QB we'd do all taxes, contributions for each employee and it would reconcile automatically. Our Farm Credit does all that and provides a total for taxes, contributions etc. If we get a different system, can we enter various totals in to QB, instead of each employee? And use new payroll system for employee reports?
If that all makes sense, what are some payroll softwares people have used and like? We intend to keep using QB for regular accounting.
