This corn was planted around May 12th. Variety is Renk 708 SSTX planted on a prescription with an average of 33,500. Last summer harvested a good crop of winter wheat, used a Krause disk on the wheat stubble, waited for some moisture and planted oilseed radishes on 15" centers using a Case IH 1240 planter at 4.5 lbs/ac. This spring sprayed with a burndown of 22 oz Powermax and 10 oz 2-4D. Bulk spread a mix of AMS, ESN, MAP, Potassium Sulfate, and Micros at 345 lbs/ac with a total N of 84 units. Incorperated dry blend with Krause Excellerator and planted two days later. Planter is a Wilrich 60' toolbar on tracks with Case IH 1200 units on 20" rows. In-furrow fertilizer is 4 gals of 8-19-3 100% ortho and 2 gals of water. 4x2 is 18 gals of 28% and 2 gals of molasses. Sprayed Calisto Xtra and generic dual when corn was spiking.

Corn got hailed on, on June 17th. Sprayed 1 pint of Bioforge and 1 quart of Blue River Six Pak (micros) on June 21st.

Sidedressed corn with sprayer on June 28th using 24" drops and custom drilled plug that streams liquid near the base of the corn plant. Corn is roughly 30" tall and currently at the V6 to V7 stage. Sidedress mix is 10 gals 28%, 2 gals 0-0-25-17s, 1 gal 8-19-3, 2 gals molasses, and 2 gals water. The drops worked extremely well and everyday that I have ran the sprayer we have gotten at least .25" of rain overnight. We are wet right now but not as bad as some. We have probably gotten 6 inches in the last week, and probably 6 inches the week before however it has been spread out with the heaviest being 3.5".
