Subject: Re: Diesel pickups up north?

NW Mississippi
Thanks again guys. We are planning to leave this afternoon and arrive in Hector, Mn sometime around 6 or 7 in the morning. Planning to swap drivers and shoot straight back, maybe be held up a couple hours or so before turnaround. There is a lot of good info y'all gave but what I can summarize is that if I build a winter front with a 12" hole and put half a tank or more (10 gal plus) of number 1 in with the regular diesel once into north iowa on empty tank, then I should be fine? Maybe take a spare air filter for blowing snow? I just changed fuel filters about 800 miles ago.
What about road conditions? We are planning to go 61 to 27 to35 to 90 to 13.
