I guess our experience has been a little different. We've done it off the tender for about 5 years. Yes if we put it on too thick we have had problems with it hardening up and clogging in the drill. You learn after the first time not to do that. Is it as good as being treated at the seed company? I think so but to each his own. We had most of ours treated with cruiser last year and so we didn't use it as much as usual. In the past we've treated every one right out of the tender.
